January 22, 2005 Macon, Georgia "Taking Care of Yourself and the Children That Depend on You"
The Center has been charged with delivering two all day conferences in the State twice during the fiscal year. The Center's first all day Conference, "Taking Care of Yourself and the Children That Depend on You" was held in Macon, GA. on 1/22/05. Over forty-five (45) adoptive and foster parents attended. Parents earned 6 hrs. of credit and a certificate of attendance/participation. The speakers were Dr. Ken McPherson, PhD. speaking on "Things That Trigger Emotions in Foster and Adopted Children", and Lyn Liphart, LPC speaking to parents on "Protecting Your Relationship and Yourself". |
