On 4/13/05, The Georgia Center hosted a Video Training workshop from 10 to Noon for Foster and Adoptive parents. Eleven parents attended. The video shown was Dr. Mel Levine's "Misunderstood Minds". This video was a Hit with parents who stated they learned a lot and asked, "When is part 2?" Some parents checked out books from the Lending Library after the workshop. Parents attending received a Certificate and credit for 2 Training hrs.

The parents were given a tour of the Center and specifically shown the Lending Library that has over 300 books , videotapes, CDs, and articles. There is even free "stuff" for parents. Most materials can be checked out free of charge from the Library.
